Can you program Honeywell Control Panels using a Keypad?

Last Updated: 11/06/2013
Honeywell alarm keypads are capable of programming Honeywell alarm panels.

Alphanumeric keypads are suggested because their displays are best suited for basic system programming and zone programming in the *56 zone. End users will find that Honeywell Fixed English Keypads (6150) are not as easy to use as their alphanumeric counterparts, and can sometimes lead to accidental programming changes to your security system.

System programming mode can be accessed by simply entering your four digit installer code (default) followed by typing "800" on your keypad.
