Where Do I Find my VISTA 20P Panel Revision?

Last Updated: 11/06/2013
Every Vista 15P and 20P has a 1" x 1" black revision chip on its circuit board.

Locate the chip and find the letters "WA20P". The number that immediately follows is your panel revision.  A 9.12 PROM Chip Revision is required to use Total Connect 2.0 with the Vista 20P security panel. Neglecting to use a newer chip can result in a compatibility issue with Honeywell's AlarmNet cloud-based products.

Upgrading to a new revision...

The process is simple. Just pop out the old chip and replace it with the new 9.12 PROM revision chip that you've ordered. Once the new chip is in place, your panel won't experience any loss of programming.
