By Petra PaulsonIf your L5100 (or L5000) LYNX Touch Control Panel is outfitted with an AlarmNet internet or cellular communicator, then the time and date will automatically populate. For those control panels without a communicator, follow these steps for manual date and time programming:
Disarm your panel. Click the "Tools" icon, then type the master code on the displayed keypad. Click the icon labeled "Date Time". Use the arrows in the calendar screen to set the year and month. Choose the current date and then click the down-arrow at the bottom right of the screen. If the time shown here is incorrect, click "Clear" and then enter the correct time, set for AM or PM. Click the down arrow and set your area's time zone. You also have the option of enabling the daylight savings time function, which automatically initiates in the second week of March, and reverts back in the first week in November. After all these changes are made, press "Save" and return to the home screen.
