The 5875 is plugged in to a lamp, which is then plugged in to a standard wall outlet. When you press a button on your wireless key fob, a signal is sent to the lamp module, which then turns your light on or off. With Honeywell Key fobs and the 5875 lamp module, remote controlled lighting is only a button-click away.
