UL listed for panic exit hardware, rim exit devices 98 and 99 for all single and double doors with mullions. Devices are Grade 1 ANSI A156.3, 2008 compliant. The case of the 98 device is smooth, while the case of the 99 device is grooved. Except when the SD (special dogging), -2 (double cylinder), or SS device choices are applied, the rim device is non-handed (signal switch). It is suitable for all types of single and double doors with mullions. The 99 rim exit device, which features a contemporary touch bar style and hardware that is UL approved for panic exit hardware, is a more affordable option. It is intended for usage in places where frequent abuse treatment is likely. On the door's egress side are touch bar exit mechanisms placed. These gadgets have a push bar region for escape and an enclosed mechanism case.
