UL-listed for panic exit hardware is the 98 and 99 Rim exit devices for all single and double doors with mullions. Devices meet grade 1 of ANSI A156.3 from 2008. While the 99 device has a grooved casing, the 98 device has a smooth mechanical case. Except when one of the following device settings is used: SD (special dogging), -2 (double cylinder), or SS, the rim device is non-handed (signal switch).
