Von Duprin DE5300 Logic Controller, For Use with Delayed Exit Devices.
When combined with a magnetic lock, the DE5300 Delayed Egress System is designed for controlled egress applications. It complies with the standards of the NFPA for "Special Locking Arrangement" and IBC for "Special Egress-Control Devices," as well as life safety and security concerns. The DE5300 assembly is self-contained and includes all control units, auxiliary locking, local alarm, and remote signaling outputs.
On narrow stile doors where a normal or narrow stile Chexit is impractical, the DE5300 is frequently used. Schlage Electronics Direct Hold Magnetic Lock is managed by DE5300 Delayed Exit System using a Von Duprin RX-LC (low current request to exit) panic device and a Chexit logic board. The DE5300's Chexit module is mounted in a control box on the wall right next to the entrance. The DE5300 has access to all of the conventional Chexit exit device's features and capabilities.
