The Von Duprin 6223-FS-24VDC-US32D series of Electric Strike is specifically made to offer remote unlocking of a locked door since it enables opening the door without retraction of the latchbolt. When the door closes and the beveled latchbolt rides over the lip and lands in the electric strike pocket, the electric strike lip, also known as the keeper or gate, releases. The remote release feature offers extra advantages including improved efficiency and convenience. Electric strikes from the 6200 series also boost security and regulate traffic. For use on new installations of double doors with hollow metal, aluminum, or wood frames that are 1 3/4" (44mm) thick and have a minimum stile of 4 3/4" (120mm) and mortise locks without deadbolts or cylindrical locks, the 6223 series provides a good selection of electric strikes with highly customizable features. Here, the deadbolt needs to be opened by hand. It works effectively for applications involving fresh building. Your door is more securely secured when the electric strike and door hardware work together. |
