The Von Duprin 6112-12VDC-US32D Series of Electric Strike is ideal for remote door unlocking since it enables opening the door without retracted latchbolt. When the door closes and the beveled latchbolt rides over the lip and lands in the electric strike pocket, the electric strike lip, also known as the keeper or gate, releases. The 6112 series is well suited for new construction applications and offers a good selection of electric strikes with highly adjustable features for use with exit devices on single doors applications. Your door is more securely secured when the electric strike and door hardware work together.
