The TSB is an exit device for doors secured by magnetic locks. Simple acts of touching the bar, even through light gloves or clothing, triggers an electronic sensor that will immediately release the lock. This exit device is for indoor use only and is installed easily on all types of metal, aluminum or wood frame doors. The assembly consists of an aluminum bar available in lengths that will fit a standard U.S door. Note: this device meets the “no tools or knowledge” code requirements.

The bar varies from 36, 42 and 48 inches. For safety purposes, in an unlikely event of sensor failure, a push switch is mounted on the back side of the bar. It comes with a 16 ft. (4.8m) 22AWG 6 conductor cable and armored door cord included and operates on 12 or 24VDC and like the bar it has a current draw of 40mA at rest; 25mA releasing. It comes with the MagnaCare lifetime replacement, no fault warranty.

This exit device has multiple options when it comes to accessories for the TSB. One of the options is the TCP, which covers unwanted mounting holes from a previously installed device. This comes in both black (TCP-BK) and clear (TCP-CL). Then there is the TSB-TDM which allows through-bolting of the TSB on doors greater than 1-3/4^th thick. Lastly you can order the TSB to be electrolynx ready in three different sizes. First are the EL-TSB-Bk (36”), the EL-TSB-BK-42 (42”) and the EL-TSB-BK-48 (48”) which are the black anodized models. The clear anodized models are EL-TSB-CL (36”), the EL-TSB-CL-42 (42”) and the EL-TSB-CL-48 (48”).

Its shipping weight is 7lbs to 9lbs depending on the length. However it can be field cut to fit non-standard door widths. It has an operating temperature of +32 to +110F (0 to +43C) and for indoor use only.

The TSB comes in many different models and different sizes. There are the black standard anodized models such as TSB-BK (36”), the TSB-BK-42 (42”) and the TSB-BK-48 (48”). There is the TSB-BKT which is the 36” model with a trailing edge timer (3 sec). Next are the clear anodized models with TSB-CL (36”), the TSB-CL-42 (42”) and the TSB-CL-48 (48”). The TSB-CLT is the 36” model with trailing edge time (3 sec) and a 42” TSB-CLT-42 model. The next sets of models are the weather-resistant bars. There is the DTSB-BK (36”), the DTSB-BK-42 (42”) and the DTSB-BK-48 (48”). Then we have the clear anodized weather-resistant models with the DTSB-CL (36”), the DTSB-CL-42 (42”) and the DTSB-CL-48 (48”).
