Securitron DK-12 Digital Keypad System with Illuminated Keys, Single Gang

The DK-12 is a standalone keypad, designed for lower security requirements. It is primarily used for indoor single door traffic control for indoors. This is the only available model for the DK-12 (Digital Keypad System with Illuminated keys – Single Gang). There is an optional rain cover (WCC - Weather Cover – Clear), and a gasket back box (WBB - Weather Back Box) so that it may be used for the outdoors. Although these accessories make it outdoor-proof, make sure the location is not directly exposed to rain or snow to avoid future problems.

This entry device is explicitly designed to controlprogram code replacement function, all of the DK-12’s programming is done through the keypad. It will retain all codes and settings in case of a power failure. It has an intuitive user interface with ultra-simple programming, making it easy to operate. It operates on low voltage AC or DC current. The current draw and voltage is 70mA, 12 or 24VDC and has a maximum 30VDC or 300VAC switched voltage.

The DK-12 has a stainless steel backplate with 12 illuminated keys (10 digits + "*" and "#" keys), and an audible keystroke echo. With an operating temperature of -10 to +140F (-23 to +60C) and a shipping weight of 1 lb.

This device has two different modes, passage and lockout mode. It comes with indicator lights above the keypad; left-hand side green, the center is yellow, and the right-hand side is red. These provide programming prompts and feedback during operation. Note that the green and red LEDs could be reversed thru programming. It has a request to exit (REX) input and an optional weather cover available.
