The DKC is the digital keypad controller. It is a dual door access control system designed for medium/ high-security control of electric locks. It provides a stand-alone control of up to two doors either independently or combined and uses a fast and simple method of adding users. This is done with either programming directly from the keypad or uploading with easy to use programming tools. It can also range to advance depending on the user’s needs. It has an operating temperature of +32 to +110F [0 to +43C] and a shipping weight of 1.75lb (0.8kg). The DKC is compatible with the ASSA ABLOY Aperio family of wireless products. Its electrical specifications are 12/24VAC or DC; minimum 1A supply for the base unit, add supply current for any devices connected to the DC outputs. This device gives a new, easy to use intuitive remote programming option so that users and user codes can be entered from the comfort of the administrators’ desk for later upload to the controllers. It also maintains options for the industry’s easiest keypad programming at the reader or the controller board. It gives the ability to independently control up to two doors and expand up to 250 users per reader.
