The SM-207-5LQ (White) Magnetic Contacts (Stubby) from SECO-LARM is a 3/8 (1 cm) diameter switch specifically designed for applications where space is limited. The SM-207-5LQ short length makes it ideal for thin framed windows and doors where longer units cannot be used.

The magnet and sensor press into 3/8" holes and metal contacts provide reliable monitoring at a gap of up to 1 (2.5 cm). This type of contact switch is for normally closed circuits, which means that the when the magnets are lined up, the switch is closed. The 3/4" (1.9 cm) switch is enclosed in a moisture-resistant, corrosion-resistant epoxy compound. For installation on steel doors, windows, and screens, a stronger magnet may be necessary. The contacts are weatherproof and are made of high-impact ABS plastic. Finally, they make hidden mounting easy and small enough to be used in narrow door/window frames.
