Alarm Controls REB-1 Request-to-Exit Pushbar, 34-1/2", Clear Anodized Aluminum Clear Anodized Satin Aluminum, With Door Loop Also known as: REB1, AC-REB1, HES-REB1 The Alarm Controls REB-1 is a request to exit pushbar. The unit features a low operating force and low profile designed. The pushbar is equipped with four SPDT switches for position operation and features a clear anodized aluminum finish.
In a dependable, long-lasting exit bar, REB-1A provides mechanical activation for electrical release. designed to be used as an initiating device for a delayed egress timer or on electronically locked, non-fire rated doors. The lock is released by pressing the bar, which triggers internal mechanical switches.
Use the REB-1A to permit escape through an electronically secured door, but be sure to adhere to all applicable building and fire codes. REQUEST TO EXIT BAR USAGE NOTES: Consult your local building and/or fire prevention codes and regulations to confirm installation. A fire-rated door that needs a fire-rated latch cannot use the REB-1A. However, there are some situations when fire doors are allowed on openings without the need for a fire rated barrier. Always check with your local building code and/or fire prevention agency before using the REB-1A. |
