Edwards Signaling FX-HD DETECTOR SAS HRS ROTARY
Intelligent addressable detectors from Kidde are meticulously designed to provide high-performance features, exceptional dependability, and unmatched quality. With their highly stable construction, these detectors resist air movement caused by heating and air conditioning, making them ideal for use in the interiors of contemporary buildings.
Throughout their service life, the installation and maintenance advantages of Kidde intelligent detectors add value. The design of the head and terminal base makes installation and maintenance a cinch, and the easily replaceable optical chambers simplify maintenance. Optionally, a plastic break on the detector housing prevents removal from the base without a special tool.
A bright, easy-to-see single tri-color LED flashes green for normal, yellow for trouble, and red for alarm, eliminating much of the guesswork involved in determining the status of detectors.
The FX-PD contains a replaceable optical sensing chamber that detects smoke-borne particles.
The FX-PHD is equipped with both a replaceable optical sensing chamber that detects smoke and a fixed-temperature sensor that detects heat. The detector analyzes data from the two sensors to determine when an alarm should be activated.
The FX-PDD duct detector prevents the spread of smoke throughout the structure; see data sheet K85001-0613.
The FX-HD is a rate of rise or fixed-temperature heat detector with a fixed 135F alarm threshold (57C)
FX-PD and FX-PHD optical detectors are equipped with drift compensation that allows for the continuous adjustment of their sensitivity to account for environmental changes such as dust, temperature, and humidity. These detectors emit a CleanMe(R) signal when they have reached their current limit, decreasing the likelihood of false alarms. |
