The Von Duprin 99EO-F-3-US28 is a rim fire exit device designed for single and double doors with a door length of 2'4" to 3'. The unit is equipped with a grooved mechanism case and no outside trim. The device features a satin aluminum finish.
The 99-F rim fire exit devices for all types of single doors up to 4 x 10 (1219mm x 3048mm) or 8 x 10 (2438mm x 3048mm) double doors with 9954 or 985mullionson, UL listed for Fire Exit Hardware. Devices are ANSI A156.3 2001 Grade 1. The rim device is non-handed except when the following device options are used: -2 (Double Cylinder) or SS (Signal Switch).
The Von Duprin 99EO-US28-3 series exit device is well built from heavy gauge rolled steel section and features the tried-and-true heavy-duty touch bar mechanism that has been used so successfully in all architectural grade Von Duprin touch bar devices. It is suitable for all types of single and double doors with mullions. The 99-rim panic exit device, which features a contemporary touch bar style and hardware that is UL approved for panic exit hardware, is a more affordable option. It is intended primarily for usage in environments where frequent abusive treatment is to be anticipated. On the door's egress side are touch bar exit mechanisms placed. These gadgets have a push bar region for escape and an enclosed mechanism case. |
