Potter / Amseco PS25-2 PS25-2 HIGH/LOW PRESSURE IND
The Potter PS25 Series Supervisory Pressure Actuated Switches are primarily made to detect changes in automatic fire sprinkler systems' normal system pressure. Applications for pressure tanks, air supplies, water supplies, and air/nitrogen supervision in dry pipe and pre-action systems are typical. Two switches are on the PS25-2. When pressure drops, the Low switch will turn on at roughly 18 psi (1,2 BAR), according to factory settings. The factory default setting for the High switch is an increase in pressure of about 28 psi (1,9 BAR) before the switch turns on. For both high and low pressure situations, NFPA 72 mandates the use of a supervisory signal. The factory settings for the PS25 are 23 psi for standard air pressure. If something other than factory set point is needed, refer to the section headed Adjustments and Testing.
