The Honeywell Ademco ASC-SS1 is a Shock Sensor that triggers an alarm when a glass window pane is broken by an intruder.
Great for use in residential and commercial locations, the ASC-SS1 monitors and protects a myriad of glass types, including plate, wired, tempered, and laminated glass. Within an 8 foot radius, the sensor can detect when glass (up to 1/4" thick) is broken. The sensor mounts directly on the glass surface and is connected to a two-wire protective loop.
