The Honeywell 997 is a ceilling mount PIR Motion Sensor for small-to-medium sized rooms up to 30 square feet.
The unit is to be mounted on the ceiling in the center of the room to protect against vandalism and tampering. Its compact size ensures the detector remains discreet in just about any location.
For larger areas, like classrooms, meeting rooms, or storage areas, multiple 997 detectors are required to ensure complete motion sensor coverage.
