The Global-Cache GC-IRL is an IR learner that plugs directly into a PC's RS-232 port and "learns" all IR codes (30-500KHz) that control infrared audio/video equipment.
These codes can be used alongside GC-IRL Utility Software to display codes and convert them into other formats. Using these codes, IR devices can be controlled by any computer throughout the network. No external power is required as the GC-IRL receives power from the RTS line of the serial port.
