Edwards Signaling 270A-SPO Fire Alarm Station Pull Station with Wire Leads 30 VAC, 3 A; 28 VDC, 1.0 A Also known as: 270ASPO, ED-K270ASPO The Edwards Signaling 270A-SPO single pole fire alarm pull station with wire leads is for fire alarm installations in schools, hospitals, factories, and industrial locations.
The 270A-SPO features an open circuit design and has a tamper proof reset function. The station's die cast body is painted red, with painted silver stripes. For replacement glass rods, order Catalog No. 270-GLR (pkg. of 20).
The 270 Series mounts on a 4" (102mm) square box with single gang plaster cover. It may be surface mounted using the P-027193 cast back box or the P-039250 steel back box. For weatherproof mounting, order the Catalog No. STI-3150.
The Kidde K-270 Series Non-Coded Fire Alarm Stations are well-built, aesthetically pleasing, and created for easy installation.
The station is offered in the operational and practical designs listed below:
The K-270 Series offers a break glass initiating station with a single action. It can have contacts that are generally open (NO), normally closed (NC), or both NO and NC. Screw terminals are used in the basic K-270 Series for field connections. The wire leads of the K-270A Series Manual Stations measure 6 inches (150mm).
- A break glass, generally open pre-signal station is the K-270P Series. All pre-signal indicating devices sound an alert when the lever is pulled. A general evacuation alarm is activated by inserting and rotating a key. There are screw terminals available for field connection.
All non-coded stations can be mounted flush or on the surface. A 4 inch standard North American square box with a single gang plaster cover should be utilized for flush mounting. Use a cast box, steel box, or housing for weatherproof encapsulation when surface mounting the K-270 Series or K-270P Series. |
