Edwards Signaling 2452THS-110-R Field Programmable Electronic Horn/Strobe Temporal Horn Strobe

The 2452THS-110-R is a red, 110 candela horn/strobe used in life safety environments to alert occupants of an emergency.
The housing is made from a rugged and durable fire retardant plastic with a textured surface. The audible and visual signals are synchronized, producing reliable alerts for residents.
The horn/strobe can be mounted indoors and outdoors, on a wall or a ceiling. Flush mounting can be achieved using a 4" square box with a minimum depth of 2 1/8".
To inform occupants of a life safety emergency, the Edwards 2452THS Series temporal horn/strobe is expressly created for use with compatible life safety communication and control systems. Over moderate background noise, the horn's piercing low frequency sound is audible. Almost anywhere in the room, hallway, or huge open space can see the flash from its strobe.
Its tough plastic casing is constructed from strong, fire-resistant, high impact polyethylene with a light texture. With just one screw, its clever mounting plate firmly secures the device. A different trim plate is needed.
HORN: The horn is installed with either a low (94 dBA) or high (98 dBA) output and a steady or temporal tone signal. All of the horns on a shared two-wire circuit self-synchronize when temporal output is chosen. It is not necessary to use external control modules for audible synchronization.
STROBE: When utilized with an independently installed EG1M Signal Master, the strobe meets UL synchronization criteria (within 10 milliseconds over a two-hour period). completely able to work with Genesis signals.
Because a small percentage of people have a condition that could make them become bewildered by several random flashes of light, synchronization is crucial. The risk is reduced by this strobe.
The 2452THS horn/strobe is for use in restrooms, meeting spaces, lobbys, hallways, sleeping quarters or work areas intended for use by the deaf, or any other area where a visible alarm signal is necessary. |
